While Morningside Neighborhood is recognized by and receives staff support from the City, it is self-directed. The officers of the Board are elected by the membership. If you live, work, or own property in the Morningside Neighborhood boundaries, you are automatically a member. Join us in making your neighborhood a better place to live.

CITY COUNCIL

Ward 3 - Shane Matthews

Our community deserves a city council that listens and acts in the best interest of the people. Whether it's ensuring every hard-earned penny is well spent, creating a safe enviornment for our families, or supporting the local businesses that make Salem unique, I am committed to making a difference.

Our Journey is about more than politics--it's about heart, home and hope.

With your support and trust, we will build a Salem that we are all proud to call home.
